Interpretation Plan.

Local Interpretation Plan – how was it developed?

In April 2006 the volunteers attended a workshop on the development of a Local Interpretation Plan (LIP) aimed at focusing them to explore the heritage of the American Gardens and assist them in interpreting it into a theme. A LIP shows how you will go about interpreting your heritage to people.

In January 2007 they were selected by Herian to be part of the ‘This Is Our Heritage’ Project which enabled them to attend a series of workshops to support them to complete a Local Interpretation Plan for their project.

The Local Interpretation Plan Tool Kit was developed and written by a partnership of four key organisations - Groundwork Wales, HERIAN, the Communities First Support Network and Gareth Kiddie Associates.
