Tree
Condition Survey. The American
Gardens Environmental Project commissioned a Tree Condition Survey in
partnership with Torfaen County Borough Council in 2007. This survey was
undertaken by Steve Ambler Arboriculture Services and provides guidance to
the group regarding the work required to make the area safe. We
recently began practical tree safety work based on the outcomes of this
survey and have prioritised those trees that present the highest risk to visitors
to the site and neighbouring properties. In addition to the survey report
professional advice is sought at every stage from ecologists and tree
surgeons to ensure that the ecological impact is minimised and habitats are
protected. We welcome healthy debate between the necessity of work for health
and safety reasons and the ecological impact of such work. We have
provided a copy of the survey for you to download and will shortly provide an
update on the work carried out so far. If you
